Prince Manufacturing Announces New UL Certification

AM General brought us a challenge in processing ballistic steel that needed a creative technical solution. Prince Manufacturing executed surface preparation, pretreatment, and top coat processes that solved the technical challenge. We have continued to evolve the process.

As a result, Prince Manufacturing helped AM General reduce its floor space requirement from 1,500 square feet to 500 square feet, cycle time from 5 days to 1 day, and freight requirements from 210 miles to 70 miles. The bottom line: significant reductions in waste and dramatic cost savings.
